Barbaras ancestors came to Austin in the late 1850s. Her father Col. J.E. Roberts had a passion for real estate, so it runs in her blood. She knows all of Central Texas better than almost anyone. She grew up in Tarrytown, attended UT-Austin, earning a BFA in art, and an MFA from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She taught at Texas State University, then married and raised her family in West Lake Hills with her husband, then a prominent Austin developer. She was a founding member and the first director of the Umlauf Sculpture Garden from 1988 to 1991, and became licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission as a Salesperson in 1992. She specializes in relocation, equestrian properties, residential properties, farm & ranch, and luxury properties.

If you are looking to buy or sell equestrian properties, Barbara is THE Austin and Hill Country expert. Barbara comes from a family of horse ranchers and has been riding since age four. Over the years she has competed in many different equestrian disciplines, most recently in Dressage at the level of Prix St. George.

Barbaras experience, network, passion for real estate, artistic eye, and marketing savvy make her the best choice in promoting your real estate, or finding the perfect property.
